Engine swap on 1992 fox body?

Asked by Javier Aug 03, 2018 at 10:32 AM about the 1992 Ford Mustang LX Convertible RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I’m looking at buying a 1992 go body convertible
and was wondering what type of modifications
could be done to it to increase the horse power and
torque output because it’s the 4 cylinder lx model
and they only got 105 hp also what type of engines
would be compatible with it and would I need to
swap out other parts to fit with a new engine?

1 Answer

Don't bother with the 4. Get a V8 or save a lot of work (*and money) and buy a V8 car.
