How do you remove air conditioning from 1992 Ford Explorer?

Well the responsible way is to let a shop evacuate the refrigerant so it doesn't bleed off into the atmosphere. The rest is just unplug it and rip it out. You can get a dummy AC pulley so you don't have to change the serpentine belt after yanking the compressor out. The evap. coil just leave buried in the dash.
