go to car-parts.com I got 14000 mile engine from salvage yard out of state for 500 plus 150 to ship. Search local first,if parts go bad u pay shipping.Some yards sell extended warranty for little more money.Good luck

well, i have already replaced the engine in 2002 when the radiator overheated and screwed up everything else so it now has an unknown engine from a post-1992 explorer...never had trouble with the tranny until we replaced the engine...this one has also had cooling problems and a lot of problems with the driveshaft and rear brakes too...i jus need to do a complete overhaul on it i guess then.
