Could be dirty/faulty idle air control valve, dirty throttle plate, vacuum leak or throttle position sensor. Will it stay running if you feather the gas pedal? If so I would check idle air control valve first. If not I would look for vacuum leak and test throttle position sensor.

There is a large vacuum L on top of the intake that are bad about splitting that causes this.

have to replace the upper intake manifold bolt gourmet ( it is the rubber washer , leaking air through this plenty) if you fix that trust me you will be in good shape
