Electrical issues

Asked by GuruN3614 Nov 09, 2019 at 05:48 PM about the 2005 Ford Taurus SE

Question type: General

I have a 2005 Ford Taurus I just replaced the
alternator last October and the battery, then I had
to replace the battery again in August of 19 and
I'm still having issues with my car. Does it have a
voltage regulator? Why does my battery keep
draining?

It's called a parasitic draw, one or more of your cars electrical circuits is using power when the vehicle is off. You need a multimeter to check each circuit in the car pulling each fuse. You can reference a youtube video to help.
