Plugs an wires

Asked by 1bolt2nuts Oct 08, 2016 at 01:42 PM about the 2004 Ford Taurus SES

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The code P0302 on my 2000 Ford Taurus
said the cylinder number two had too
many misfires. I replaced the plugs and
wires. Reset the computer by
disconnecting the negative terminal for 15
minutes. Now it won't even turn over
anymore. What did I do wrong?

Check for a blown main engine fuse in fuse box under the hood.

But the interior lights and everything else comes on. It just clicks when I turn it over. Could it still be the fuse?

If starter just clicks try tapping on starter with a hammer while someone else tries starting vehicle if vehicle starts replace starter.
