I have a 2004 ford taurus sl that won't start but the lights are on?

jump start don't help ? batt. is charged ? probably the starter , might be starter relay if you have one , you'd probably have to pull the starter to see if power is getting to it so you might as well replace it if you haven't already

You don't give enough information to even try to answer! Does it turn over? Do the lights dim when you try? Is fuel getting to engine? Give us more info.
