You could have tensioned the belt too tight, it could be slightly off one of the pulleys, could be routed incorrectly or it could just plain be the wrong belt.

if it was on wrong it would fly off, check to see if everything is turning,WP,ALT PS tenson wheel.if it was the wrong belt,it would not have went on.

Actually, that is incorrect. It is possible to incorrectly install a belt, it will squeal and systems will not operate per design. That is not possible on every vehicle, but it is possible.

That has to be one of the most intellectual retorts i have ever heard. Well thought...i give it an "A." I think its the CAPS LOCK that really does it for me. I feel wrong...thanks. You may also have a pulley locking up due to bearing failure. Check all pulleys when the belt is removed to make sure they are free of burs on the mating surface to the belt and also to see if they have free movement.

Do i posses ownership of the wrong? You're wrong would be much better suited to make me feel belittled. Thanks again.

The Ford Motor Company has declared a recall in excess of 140,000 F-15o trucks due to an airbag defect in the 2004 and 2005 F-150 models. The Ford F-150 is the bestselling car in America, and there have been 2 recalls of F-150 pickups in the past month. The recall is over a defect in the wiring system, which can cause the driver side airbag to deploy nearly instantly after the car is started.
