Not picking up while driving

Asked by Daniel Dec 13, 2016 at 11:24 AM about the 2002 Ford Taurus LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just got the car and got on the highway(65mph)
and it was struggling to get there and couldn't pass
65mph even with the pedal to the floor. Sounds like
there's a lot of air escaping and revving hard.
While in the city, I was "recommended" to drive on
OD and it's the same way. Just scarier on the hw
with semi trucks creeping up my behind.

Daniel- when you say that you just got the car, what do you mean?
