My Mom had a new battery put in her Taurus (2002??). Since then every once and a while it won"t start. She will wait a few minutes and then it does start. She had the starter replaced last week but yesterday, it again refused to start. She waited a few minutes and then it started. What could this be? She is 87. I have had to change my starter on my 98 Taurus SE three times in last 1 1/2 years. I changed the battery, and the alternator a yr, and a half ago, and seven months later the starter went out again, and this week it did again. Any suggestions? 1 Answer

my 1996 ford taurus gl when going down the road and coming to a full stop. the car will not move unless you put it in neutral and back to drive it will then go down the road. If i take it easy shifting is smooth but if i give it excessive gas it shifts rough we changed transmission fluid and filter and replaced speed sensor what could be the problem need help bad to get this thing going 3 Answers
