I have a person wanting to test drive the Ford Ranger. She has not setup a time to drive around but how do you handle the sale exactly?

I get a lot of bogus contacts - they ask if the vehicle is still available or they make an offer without even looking at the car. When I reply to their message/offer with my standard spiel about how I will only use Cargurus.com's escrow service (AutoPay) for payment, they do not read the replies (you can tell because your reply mesage will say "unread" if they have not read it yet). I don't know if they are just mentally deficient fools thinking that it would be a funny joke to waste someones time or if there is some nefarious ulterior motive or scam involved. Out of 14 inquiries only 2 have been semi-legit. I figure that as soon as some really is interested, I won't get too excited about it - just reply and if they read your reply, maybe they are really interested. I alway specify that they meet me at a very public place like a Target store parking lot and if they do purchase I will only use the escrow service so there is never any chance of a bad Cashiers check or bogus funds transfer - Autopay requires them to wire the money and does not rely on any funds transfers so they can't take your car and cancel the cashier check or dispute the funds transfer.
