My tailgate was smashed in the window shattered & the whole tailgate needs to
be replaced. Any idea how much it would be.

Call around and see what junk yards sell them for. I am guessing $200 to $300 plus installation.

did you call your insurance company to file a claim? You have to determine if it would be worth it, depending on your deductible.
