My car is still over heating

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My check engine light came on and I took
it to the shop and it said I need to replace
the thermostat so I did but now my car is
still running hot what can be the problem
plz help

Who replaced the thermostat? Could be air in the cooling system that needs to be purged. Do not be driving it until fix and you know it is not overheating, you would cause more damage if you haven't already done so.

right- take it back and say "my car is still overheating" and then say, "you losers better get it right this time!"
