Changing a waterpump

Im trying to change my water pump.. i got the
pulley off and got the 4 bolts out of the water
pump. But cant get the water pump out of the
motor.. is there a special way to get the water
pump out.. thanks

Just make sure you have all the bolts out then take a rubber mallet t and give it some taps. The silicone sealant hardens up and you have to give it some persuasion.

I tried that.. it got the top of the water pump seperated from the engine.. but cant seem to get the mallet up to the water pump from underneath to separate.. what can i do for that..
