I have a 01 explorer sport V6 4.0 in park or driving it wont rev higher then 4000rpms

i was told its in the computer other ones I've drove don't do what mine does

if it was the computer it would be throwing codes and the check engine light would be on.if you expect it to be the computer take it to Auto Zone for a scan,weather or not the check engine light is on or not .if it is bad the scan will not show nothing,will say not able to comuncate with computer.in my opion,its not the computer,will be what is posted on my other post.
