how do i get the oil change due light to go off?

Call the dealership and ask them what they do to make the light go off. It can be as simple as pressing a button, or it can involve turning the key on and off a certain number of times. Hard to say without knowing how Ford does theirs.

What I did with my 2006 Explorer Ltd 1. With the "Oil needs to be changed" light illuminated 2. Press the "Setup" button on the center panel. It will ask you to press "Reset" to clear the light. 3. Press "Reset" That should do it. Good luck
