When I rev my 2002 explorer to 4000 all the gauges on the dash go all the way over then to 0 then back to were there saposed to be

Your hitting the engine governor. And the engine is telling you to stop "Fing" with it.

No the gauges should not be going all the way over. And the tach to 7 and speed to 120 then to 0. That's not. Right
