I'm looking to see if there is any regular trailer that can be rented to tow behind an RV that
can carry an Explorer 2WD, 4Dr thanks since the Explorer cannot be flat towed.

Look on the inside door of the RV on the label attached. Along with the tire pressure should be other initials and weights. Determine the curb weight of the RV empty. Now look at the figure for GVWR. This is the total which can be towed which consist of the following: The weight of the RV, to include passengers, any other load, gas, etc. Now calculate the tongue weight for the trailer being towed plus the added weight on the tongue applied with explorer. The base weight of a explorer is in the 4300 bound range. If the sticker has GCVWR figure, this is the wright that can be towed including the weight of the vehicle plus the weight of the trailer plus load. Example: If the trailer weight 1000 pounds and the vehicle weighs 4300 pounds that equals 5400 pounds. At that to the curb weight of the RV plus passengers and additional load and that figure should not be exceeded.
