The car idles fine even at low rpms it seems ok but when it gets towards 3000ish rpms it starts to bog back down
like something's restricting it

So when stepping on the gas my car won't accelerate the engine revs but it does accelerate until trying after a few times than it will go normal until I slow down or stop than it starts over again .. 9 Answers

No check engine light is on my car just has trouble accelerating and than it will accelerate until I have to stop or slow down again .. -

my 1996 ford taurus gl when going down the road and coming to a full stop. the car will not move unless you put it in neutral and back to drive it will then go down the road.
