Won't open from inside or outside? (Just trying to make sure I understand the situation correctly)

If there is no access hole in the center of. The rear hatch trim then u have to remove the trim panel top half and stick ur hand down there and feel around for the release tab.. probably best to buy a new one so u can see where the manual release is
