Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Driver door trunk release button does not open
trunk. Keyless entry fob does not open trunk. With
key in the ignition in the on position(vehicle off or
on) trunk opens when put into reverse. Why is this
happening?

I have tried a battery reset, disconnect and the reconnect...failed to reset issue. Tried replacing both fuses relating to the trunk release, that did not fix the issue.
