replacing power window motors for 1995 crown vic

motor runs, window does nothing

They call it a "Gear Kit" and it runs about $45 for the kit. Pull the door panel, locate and drill 2 dimples to allow you access to the 5/16" head window motor bolts (3). remove the phillips screw, pull out the entire Nylon gear, clean it out, replace the gear and use the entire contents of the lubricant provided. Should be 1 hour labor and $45 for parts if you have it done.
