These trucks were actually Ford-badged Mazda B-series pick-ups. Replacing the starter is kind of a pain in the rear. It's located in the rear of the engine compartment, below the air filter, etc., and can be accessed from above or below the vehicle, depending on how much you want to remove. I would suggest getting a Haynes manual to show you location and specs, as it's hard to describe and difficult to find if you don't know what you're looking for. It's sort of above the transmission in the rear of the engine near the firewall.
