Mustang convertible top

Asked by Guru9ZDCP9 Nov 25, 2020 at 07:49 AM about the 2006 Ford Mustang V6 Premium Convertible RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The top on our convertible mustang won’t go
up so we took it to the dealer since no one
else would touch it. They want to charge 2300
to replace hydraulic motor and that’s more
than the car is even worth. Now they are
haggling us to do a trade in and it seems fishy
to me.

Some dealers are just looking to make money and sell you a new car. Find a local automotive upholster shop, they will work on Convertible tops. See what they can quote you.
