What makes my temp. Controls act up, the driver side stuck on cold passanger side works

There is what's called a blend door a servo motor moves the door and if the motor goes bad then its stuck in that position. I'm not guaranteeing it but that's where I would start.

Hi Jeremy, Thank you for your post. Sorry to hear you're having this issue. After researching your Owner's Manual pg. 2-57 Temperature Display, I did see that it suggests if an abnormal reading is displayed, for an extended period of time, please consult your dealer. Under certain circumstances, a delay in updating the temperature is normal but it shouldn't be stuck. Vanessa GM Customer Service
