Engine wiring

Asked by Jerry Aug 06, 2018 at 04:32 PM about the 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Extended Cab RWD

Question type: General

I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500 hd with a 6.0
and a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500 hd with a 6.0.
Question is can I take the 6.0 out of the 05 and put
it in the 2001? Is the wiring different or can it just
be swapped out with no issues

there will be sensor differences so the harness will not plug into all sensors or missing sensors. You can try it.
