how do you change rear brake pads

how do you get the torx bolts out of the rear calipers so i can change the pads? What size is the torx wrench needed ( T-50)?

Hi gaknig3, I believe to remove the brake caliper for your vehicle requires a T-70 Torx bit. Good luck!

T55 Torx (star) is correct, just did mine. I recommend a socket, tough and limited space unless you remove entire caliper.

2018 Chevy 2500HD rear brake calipers there is a rubber covering the caliper bolts do I cut it open to get to them. And what size wrench are they to take them off.
