Dropped 5th wheel on bed and have dimples. How do I fix or cover?

Thanks. The dimples are on outside of bed so bed liner will not help. Expensive to repair but thinking about your suggestion to cover them somehow by painting sides of bed.

I have a sliding cover and it saved the damage to the rail but the dimples or wrinkles are 3-4 inches below on the side. Thinking about some paint something like bed spray 6 inches down from front to rear.
