I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado WT with a 4%0AV6 4.3L. My bumper has a hole for a ball. Does this mean I can tow %28boat 3500lbs%29 or do I need to add a towing package%3F

Looked on the bumper but could not find anything. However, i noticed that the bumper is bolted to the frame in three (3) different areas.
