The ac compressor clutch isn't engaging so I went to a local scrapyard to find a new clutch and ended up getting talked into buying an ac compressor off a 2007 1500 hd will this work if I put it in my truck. I was told they have the same engine.

I have a 2006 Chevrolet standard 4.3 motor. Just replaced the clutch pedal assembly. Truck will not start tested the fuses and the clutch switch. All good. Replaced the coil. Any other ideas? 3 Answers
