should i put a chip in a 4.3L v-6?

well typically in vehicles newer than 1995ish you wouldn't replace or install a computer chip. your 06 4.3L v6 would just require a chip tuner to program your current computer chip. this way you can always set it back to stock settings if need be. check out this from autoanything: http://www.autoanything.com/performance- chips/61A2342A0A0A2600328.aspx

yes, you should get a programmer though! so many more options to do like; better mpg or you can change it to more horsepower and you can take off your speed and rev. limter. and on top of that it has a scan tool and alot more... just got one for my truck. $350(money well spent)
