05 Silverado completely dead

Asked by zfowl1966 Apr 10, 2021 at 10:53 AM about the 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck was running fine parked it & 2 Hrs later wouldnt start. It just clicked and
was dead, no dash lights no door dinger. I couldnt even get a test light to light
up on the battery. Pulled the fuse module and due to heat exposure the plastic
handles that lock it down disintegrated. That module has been replaced. Now
the truck will start but dies immediately. Fuel pressure issue ??

Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. Check your charging system. If battery voltage was lost it may effect your security system? note the relearn procedure. good luck
