Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The Lock cylinder has some type of cover on it to where you can't just push
the little (Ball, pin ) to remove it with the key in on/start position. It actually
has what looks to be rivet's ( 2 about 1" apart and also a little bolt that can be
removed ) I've watched videos on youtube that show the removal process
but non has the protective cover like mine, 1 of the videos did show one
exactly like mine but did not show how to remove it or the lock cylinder. What
I would like to know is , do I drill out the two rivet  looking pieces out to be
able to access the pin or ball that needs to be pushed in to remove the Key
cylinder on this ???? AT A DEAD END HERE , HELP

The rivet looking things on this are actually bolts, and can be unscrewed with a very small chisel by tapping on the edge of the bolt (rivet looking thingy) and getting it to start unscrewing it just like a bolt would, it takes a little patience to get it started but it will unscrew because I did it. Once you get them (two of them) take the bolt with the hea out and just pull the cover off and now you can remove the switch by pushing the pin in, Simple
