Replaced oil sending unit in 2004 Chevrolet K1500 5.3 liter 4x4 now new gauge reading way past 80 on this oil meter gauge need possible solution unless change out oil sending unit agai

I'm not sure what the answer is other than changing out oil sending unit with another
