Passenger side brake light out, left turn signal works occasionally

Asked by GuruCXBLT Feb 14, 2019 at 09:27 AM about the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Passenger side brake light is out, but the turn signal which uses the same bulb
works. I have replaced the bulb and it still doesn't work. The left turn signal
work for a few seconds and then go out. Could these be related? What are the
next steps I should take? Thanks!

Get a new fuse and see if it works and if it doesn't then look and see if its that relay board thing. (I don't know what they call it for Chevy's but it says relay board on mine)
