Stripped oil plug

Threads in the oil pan or nut on the plug. If its threads in the pan I would try using the correct thread size tap to see if it will clean the threads to permit the bolt to work. Otherwise you could try the next size up but no guarantee enough metal will be available ( you may have to change oil pan ).

go to parts store and buy the repair plug about 10 bucks They are made just for this reason
