2002 silverado leaks

Asked by AJ0810 Nov 17, 2016 at 11:19 AM about the 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just bought my 2002 silverado a few months ago. It didnt
leak. I changed the oil and now it has started to leak. Was
the previous owner using a thicker oil? Should I? If so what
oil should I use? Also, should I use the lucas oil stop leak
product?

Where is the leak coming from? What weight oil did you use? In my opinion I would never recommend an engine oil anti-leak.
