No power to fuel pump

Asked by Chevykevin Aug 01, 2019 at 02:47 AM about the 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab 4WD

2001 Chevy Silverado broke down. Acted like it
was out of fuel. Checked connection at pump. No
power to pump. Power to relay and relay clicks
when key is cycled still no power to pump and
truck hasn't started since it quit. It ran rough then
quit.....please help

Are you over looking your crankshaft position sensor? Down under between transmission and block it's a little wire. Really disturbs start ups. A lot of people ignore it or simply don't know about it. Cheap fix 20 or 39 bucks or so
