94 ford ranger v6 4.0 5 speed

2 questions.. #1 i have a 94 ford ranger v6 4.0 5
speed..can i take any transmission out of any year
model ranger aslong as its a 4.0 5 speed.#2. 3rd
gear then 4th went out on me and now all. It will
still crank clutch goes to the floor and it want go in
any gear but before all the gears went out it was
makin a loud grinding noise from trans. Area. If i
put it in gear and just let it idle at its own pace it
wouldnt do it but if i hit the gas it would. Any idea
on what the problem is?

It could be your slave cylinder. Might have a slow leak or your shift stick and the grinding noise is the clutch burning
