Why is my drive shafts spinning but my 2001 Chevy Silverado won't move?

If the rear drive shaft is spinning then the problem is with the rear differential.

Yes, either the differential is bad or you have a broken axle. Any loud noises from the rear before this occurred?

I replace the trans and the t case and the truck won't move none of the drive shaft are spinning why

I'm having this same problem Same truck 01 GMC Sierra 4x4. It will engage and drive but then grinds and won't catch back into drive. I have to get to the side of the road and resist. If I power break it'll catch but due to the grinding I don't try to do that.
