spider gears broke

I have a 2000 1500 chevy silverado 4x4.  I took rear
end out and put a 2000 4x4 Tahoe rear end in.
problem is that rear end to short why.

If it is too short then it's too short. Not sure what you are asking. A Tahoe and a Silverado are not quite the same.
