Check engine light

Just had an engine put in my tuck.it was a used
engine with 145,000 miles on it. Took it for my first
ride in it this morning.drove it about 20 -25
miles.the check engine light was on.on my way
home it started blinking then it would stop for a
few seconds.did this blinking on and off a few
times.when I parked it the engine light was still
on.what should I do.

That indicates there is something not hooked up properly or one of the sensors is bad. Need to read the computer for codes and try to determine the cause. Without the codes from the computer, it's anyone's guess as to the problem.
