Do I have a bad distributor cap?

2000 Chevy Silverado was having
issues losing power up hill, changed
plugs n wires and air filter and no
change, yesterday changed distributor
cap and furl filter and now it won’t
start and sounds bad trying to turn
over?  Bad cap?

Did you remove one spark plug wire at a time so you didn't get them mixed up? The wires need to be on the cap in a certain position.
