Cars that buck against the starter may be firing on the wrong bank. If the injection system does its work by dividing the injectors in sets, but fires them not according to how it's timed, the sensor that tells the computer the cam position can be the cause. I have seen it cause the issue of no start and hard start leading to no start. It has not always set a code. on several makes. what needs to be answered is where does your engine get its signal to tell your processor the injector time and relate to the crank time, You see this has many ways to be the cause but not necessarily the specific part in your engine and only that part at fault, lets say. Your pinpoint tests may have to be used out of context or sequence by your tech. Reading your data may be required, some techs can just make an educated guess from an experienced vantage point. So what codes are currently in your system ?
