I recently changed my heater core due to failure
smell fog and steaming Up windows . I used to run
low on my temp gauge not higher then the n on
normal now my car is getting to the L but never to
the red hot line I don't let it I blast the heater
thankfully its winter but I don't get it did I reserve
the hoses or could that be possible and I do hear
like a hissing noise coming from one of the hoses I
changed the clamp today but it hasn't helped

Check coolant level. May possibly have air trapped in cooling system causing this.

Well I just asked yid guy at auto zone he said undo the radiator cap and turn it on and fill it with coolant until it stops bubbling well it took the whole bottle of coolant and it's not running hot any more u think it just needed coolant lol
