why do I have no heat?

I replaced the water pump and thermostat in my
1993 Chevy Silverado.. the upper radiator hose is
warm the lower is cold, and one of the heater hoses
is warm and the other is cold.. I getting nothing but
cold air.. any suggestions to fix the problem would be
great...

Possibly air lock. Purge air out of the system. Try Youtube for videos on this subject.

Remove air from system like this remove cap from overflow tank fill with antifreeze to full mark leave cap off and start vehicle and let idle you will notice level in tank start to rise this is normal once thermostat starts to open level in tank will drop add more antifreeze to full mark then put cap back on. If still not getting hot bad or installed wrong way thermostat ( trust me it is very easy to install backwards by mistake ).
