Ok i changed my motor

Asked by Garybell01 Oct 26, 2019 at 05:22 PM about the 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab 4WD

Changed my motor out in my chevy Z71 5.3 liter, now since
ive changed it, the transmission will not go into gear and
yet it worked before if parked it.
    Anyone have any ideas what it coukd be???

i put the torque converter inside the transmission and it slide right into place before installing the motor back into the truck.

And also for some reason by brakes not working either' and all i done was change the swap out' tell me how that works.... before i started pulling the old motor out everything worked on this truck ( it was my daily driver) now that i swapped out motors, trans and brakes not working ..
