The drivers information center is not working. What could be wrong?!

The driver's information center in my 2003 Chev Monte Carlo SS has stopped working. The garage door button is the only one that works, everything else is gone. Do I need a service repair or is it something simple?!

Did you replace the factory radio?

Thanks for your reply. No, the radio/cd player is original and works fine. I did notice the "Cruise" light is on also, even though the cruise control button is not pressed.

Ok on the radio. Sounds like you might have a short in the steering wheel controls or the clock spring in the steering column. Start by checking all of the fuses first. If they are all good take it to a REPUTABLE mechanic.
