you riped your cv axle boot thusfor it is now exposed to the outer eliments. Common road grime will adheise itself to the grease once protecting your axle joints causing it to dry out. After awhile its metal on metal pulling and pushing itself as it adjusts to the road suface. *DO BE CAREFUL if left unfixed your damaged axle may break during excessive wear. Causing you to lose control of the tire it is attached too. Fatal accident is a high possiblity
