Will a 305 fit into a 2001 monte carlo

The v6 in it now has a know and I have a spare 305 with only about 14,000 mile on it I can drop in. Just wondering how much a headache it will be and what transmission to go in it also. Thanks in advance

Converting a RWD engine to work on a FWD car is very tricky. It's going to be a big headache with the sub frame and finding a transmission that will fit inside that small area. Not impossible but a Headache
